This is probably when I started thinking about unusual engineering. When I was about 7 years old, I garbage picked several of these Golden Minute clocks and found them fascinating. I collect them as fine examples of out-of-the-box thinking. They remain today a popular collectible but they are now very easy to find on Ebay.
